| first trip to canal this season as found could drive, took first trip to canal yesterday had to find somewhere easy for access , so headed to spot between boathouse and water works cant get any easier really  soon had the rods out, 2 on ledger and 3rd with float armed with eel section from previous night and bluey the wind was a pain in the but but the rain held off whilst there ( 10-1.30 ) would have been longer but knackered we were visited by a novice team of rowers , who actually hit the bank here and were stuck for ages   unfortunately the weed killed the fishing( thought would have been less after early season dredgeing but no) so unfortunately registered a blank good rekkie and a new spot that may be better after dark  will make up some pop up rigs and long paternosters to try and beat the weed now next time  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
