my latest pike lure

This is a pike lure in a brown trout pattern ,carved by hand from English walnut. The lure is fitted with 3D holographic eyes ,traditional hook hangers ,long screws and eagle claw size2 treble hooks.the lure is weighted and is a slow sinking jerkbait. i didnt paint the whole body as i wanted the wonderful walnut grain to show in all its glory, the lure has received 7 coats of 'Ronseal diamond hard floor varnish' for durability. The overall length is 7inches.

heres some pictures:

this lure will up for sale soon on ebay.

thanks for looking.

Re: my latest pike lure

That lure is brilliant much better than any attempts I have made at making anything, If I had that I wouldn't fish with it I would set it up on display somewhere.
