Yeah the best lure outfits seem to be small lure rods from around 6-8ft, with a mulit loaded with braided line

My club waters a lake and it holds only pike and a massive head of roach (and a few perch). We usually drift baits to cover the most water possible but never neglect the margins ,as you know pike love ambush cover !

Dan.....im not being a big head but as you will see from the pics i have posted in the past my local pike water is a 200 foot deep reservoir!......If you want any tips on fishing big apparently featureless waters (i say apparently featureless 'cause all waters have underwater features obviously) pm me and i will be glad to be of assistance.......one for all and all for one !!
