Really looking forward to next weekend ( despite having to miss a club comp , but thers no fish about at moment)

Fri night heading I am heading up to surrey to meet family and help my best mate celebrate his birthday , but not too much as

Saturday
I have managed to get a place on a PAC meet at Quays Gravel pit between Farnborough and Camberly
It looked a large and imposeing lake when i popped through over christmas
with gin clear water



but although a watersking park and course fishery is only fished for the pike on 2 wekends a year with a max i think of 12 each day , and the march date last year brought in several high doubles

Dangerously there is a pub on site as well

And probably more importantly than that I will be meeting up with that old reprebait Fishypaul ( as hes also managed a ticketl) there as well

and between us we hope to see plenty of these





off now to hunt out a book on how to fish a gravel pit

i too am looking forward to this,meeting up with the pussy magnet can only result in a few laughs and hopefully a few fish as well,
when you are reading up dave best check up on the section about popping up your baits, there are supposed to be crayfish in the lake
