| Out Tommorow I am hopefully heading out tommorow, to my local lough once again, Using pretty much the same tactics as usual, but i will maybe try a new swim  . I still have not caught any of the larger fish which i know are in the water, the Presence of larger fish always seems to make going to this lough more exciting than anywhere else in my area.I will let you all know how i do tommorow night, hopefully i will be able to report on a larger pike than i am used to reporting on. | Re: Out Tommorow Today was succesful to an extent, The weather again was not ideal - there was enough rain in the past week to rise the level of the lake about 2 foot  , the winds also had not calmed down and the sun was out the whole day with only a little cloud cover.The rods were all set up for ledgering with 2 eel sections and 2 makerel tails, we had not a even a sign of a bite for about 2 hours and i was just about reel in the left had rod and the alarm screamed off and i struck in to a small 4lb pike.   It looks a bit smaller but i can assure you it was 4lbs  That was it for the rest of the day and we headed home early. It was a surprise to catch anything, the water was so high(you can see in the pictures some grass which is usually on the bank but today was about into the water), the water was extremly coloured and the weather conditions were not ideal for pikeing.
