Pike Plugs

I have a pressing date at Chew Valley Reservoir Pike fishing in February and am looking for a sensible source of plugs / hard baits. Everything seems to be £6.99 upwards because it has Rapala written on it???

I have bucket loads of shads...holographics...Spoons...Perch and Pike imitations but the one thing missing from my armoury are traditional plugs..Any tips on reasonably priced plugs is appreciated.

Thanks.....

Re: Pike Plugs

I still use plugs although I've moved onto plastic softbaits like Bulldawgs which seem to be catching more fish. I agree that £6.99 is a bit pricey for a plug which is essentially just a piece of plastic with some paint on it and a pair of hooks.
