went for a cold one

well somehow i did manage to get my ass out of bed this morning and get to the kilns for 6,30
temp gauge in car showed -25*c then the electrics unfroze and the decimal point came in makeing -2.5* pheww thats better

set up 4 or 5 swims along on bend, tj arrived about 7

it was definately a frosty one


and as we were treated to a beautifull sunrise i could see how tough the day was going to be with clear skies and a mirror like water


unfortunately Tj had to shoot off to work about 10ish and i struggled on till sometime after 2 when it was obvious nothing was going to happen
had one drop back that may just have been something swimming through lines but not a touch otherwise, the ground and bushes were still shrouded in frost when i packed up

was comforted by the fact 4 others all on main bank were fairing the same

a beautifull day which i enjoyed ( especially watching the family of long tailed tits in the tree beside swim)but the fish arent settled again after the dredging maybe?? but at least no weed now
oh well roll on christmas and next chance

now do i dare a run out to see welly now or just go to a nice warm pub

Sorry about being called out. Typical tho quiet all wk then on the day I plan something I get called out. I will be trying again this Sunday all being well

Always the same tj nothing all week then the min you plan something the phone goes.
I'm in the same line of work, yesturday just started decorating kids room and the phone goes.
