| Chew Have been looking into the pike fishing at Chew valley reservoir on the internet as i understand there are some nice sized fish there. Will probably give them a ring find out about booking if there is a space left as it does get booked up there. Was wondering if anyone has pike fished there ?     |

| Re: Chew i have a mate who fished there last year,i just texted him,he says its good,the rules are strict,no freshwater baits of any sort ( they do check apparently ) , lures and sea deads only best of luck mate |

| Re: Chew Phoned the lodge today thinking the answer would be sorry mate none left but there are some permits left, But you guessed it none left for the day i want Sunday. 2 left for thurs - working 2 left for fri - day off booked for other plans 1 left for sat - again family plans The guy was helpfull though all permits for the next session have gone, but not all have been paid for so once they have phoned round he said to ring back and there may be one available |

| Re: Chew go for it mate these are bank permits not sure whats available in the way of boat permits but you need two of you for a boat  There are some big pike in there biggest out to date 38+ lbs got to be a 40lb in there somewhere especially with a fine diet of trout  |
