final morninig of freedom for me

well with the school hols starting tommorrow,and harvest show at sons school this afternoon.

This morning was my last morning of freedom before starting work on the 3rd nov

so a bit later than planned( had hoped to get up early but anal blindness and wed night lack of sleep, I didnt see my fat ass get out o bed till 7) so after seeing kids off i had a good shufty on and made the lime kilns for 9

set up on left end main bank as needed to be quick due to limited time

well all was so so quiet but was so nice to be out as weather was lovely after last nights storm

I even tried my new rig to wobble a deadbait( complete with added bling)



i was impressed with it even if the pike weren't

with about 40 mins remaining i noticed that the smallfry that were in the upper layer over on the other bank were getting harrased by something

so i added a bung float to the above rig and set it about 2-3 feet deep max launched it accross the canal and a bit out to the left so as to let it drift through the area

and BINGO first trot( or drift dont know proper term here) this very pretty but again small (sorry claudia) but fiesty jack was at feet



i was chuffed again as got the tactics spot on

slow pack up and son happy as made his show as well

thats it now

well untill persuade the mrs that weekends are ok to go out
