| begginer hi guys novice here. so im hoping to get into piking as i find it one of the best types of fishing alongside coarse fishing lol now being a novice im going to be needing tips and help etc. i have been searcing the net and gathering all sorts of info about the art of piking and feel im ready to begin. so tackle. i work in a tackle shop which is pretty good i guess lol now heres my list and id appreciate it if you guys could check it and see if anything needs adding. landing net forceps large unhooking mat rods x2 reels x2 rod pod bite alarms braid cutters wire cutters (last pair in shop so first thing tommorow im going to sneak them away lol) swingers terminal tackle : floats hooks beads power gum for stop knots etc scissors . dont think i forgot anything but may have.lol luckily our shop stocks a very good range of dead baits from smelt to trout. any help would be great. would also like to add the only pike i have ever caught is on a piece of bread in the margins whilst fishing for roach lol forgot to add im not a complete novice to the predator fishing scene as i do my fair share of lure fishing |
