Re: Bite Indicators I use the fox rear indicators and only once had a dep hooked and find them very good but you can get away with cheap chain swingers as long as ou stay not too far away from rods as saves deep hooking ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives

Re: Bite Indicators i have the fox rear indicators and they are ok, at first a bit tricky to get used too and to set up. i go zandering mostly and use light rods and lights reels(aero gtms) but they do not work so well as pike rods and baitrunners as the rod rest button needs to be depressed by the wieght of the rod and reel. also if the rear rest is at an angle it might not register. Overall i would say that they are good but you can just as easily fish with a front alarm and indicator, but you run the risk of missing bites if you are not aware of what is going on, at least the rear drop off alarms you have to re set them once triggered !! before the fox alarms last year i used an old gardner rear rear alarm and a ghetto blaster, both worked well but they both have fragile "arms" that can bend hope that helps tony

Re: Bite Indicators I Use the ET Back biters along with fox bleepers at the front. Gives you 2 sources of indication. Also i have made my own modification to the et's too add lights for further indication. See the mod here http://www.specialistfishing.com/for...pic,169.0.html
