PIKE LURES [whats recommended? ]

can any of u guys name a few must have lures in the tackle box ??

iv got a few from a company fladen and they seem to be really cheap looking and tarnish so easily ,

whats a general good lure to have ? pictures would be good!!!

well i was out pike fishing today and on the lures we caught 5 nice pike. I dont know the make but the lures were red and black rubber baby pike. Hope this helped.

my friend has a huge rubber .... perch!! and he got a snap the other night with it but it got spat back out , they lures look hideous but they seem to do the trick !!

I have always used plugs, jigs and spinners, these are good lures which you can work at different depths. The colour does not really matter with lures, though I find using bright yellow and green lures more effective in deep water just because it is easier for the fish to see instead of a black, blue or silver which is harder to spot. When you do go out to buy some lures I think its best not to go for the larger lures because you will end up missing more bites.

odessey pigs work great if you can get them and prologic alien eels are good too rapala shad raps are still my best tho
