Re: nite pike fishing

i have done plenty,my local lake is not one that responds well to night fishing but other waters have,i have had good sessions on both river and lake,i would warn though, things like uhooking become ten times harder at night, take a good headlamp and plenty of warm clothing,
best of luck whever you go

Re: nite pike fishing

try not to fish different to daytime and if anything tidier as you are bound not to find what you want when you want if fish in a mess in the dark

i have yet to catch in dark on our canal but know is productive and will try more next winter

Re: nite pike fishing

hello lads/ladies good post i would like to add when you are fishing for pike during the night is to

1,,have ALL your tackle where you know it is handy or have it in a certain place(the pike can be put back asap)

2,, try not to fish alone if the pike kicks trebles hurt not as much as when you have to rip them out of your hand+ first aid kit(trust me lol)

3,,get to know the water and bank before darkness falls

4,,carry a few torches just then you can fall back on one if one breaks, goes flat or goes plop lol

atb with the fishing lads i will be adding onto this when things pop into my head

ian
