| Re: Making a wire trace for pike fishing Really good tips I never thought of using glue on mine! would like to see a video of how you did the second treble as it looks really neat,I use the set up off the fox DVD having never used Carboflex till last season but I'm a big fan and have never had any fish drop off yet I use 4's & 6's fox hooks and have a big supply of rapala hooks in size 8's which I bought in bulk they were for replacement trebles for small plugs but are great hooks for smaller baits!!! |

| Re: Making a wire trace for pike fishing i do em the quick way pair of forceps thread trace through hook twice take taged end attach forceps to it then hold hook in one hand and end of trace in other then spin the forceps round the main trace to form coils take off forceps and cut tag end short job done no need for a knot had big pike never lost a hook was shown to me by a friend who used to fish with john sidley years ago |
