| fishing in a swamp well i got the chance to go pike fishing again doing a nighter i went to a choosen venue when i arrived about 5.30pm i took a look at the river and it was like a swamp thick green weed and the drain was pumping hard and i thought to my self im gonna struggle in there but any way got setup on 2 ledgers out thay went and did not get a run till 10.30pm at night but i hooked it and it was giveing a good fight weed made it even heavyer and got caught up all in the lilly pads and then it crossed my other line it then went all pear shape but finaly got it in the net it was a nice pike  and after that got in the bivvy and went to sleep till 7am in the morning then re cast the rods out and gave it another 1 hour till pack up but as i was packing up a russian bloke came down fishing with a spinning rod lure under the bridge yes i had a run in with him before about you know what but this time he caught a pike and guess what he put it back  they learning  so then it was off home till next time    |
