| Unhooking Pike - a 3 year olds tip Hi, just wanted to share the wisdom of my 3 year daughters tip for unhooking a Pike. I got out on Friday and had a cracking day with 4 tench including a PB 5lb 13 oz and also a 10lb 11oz pike another PB. I landed it in my net and went on to chin and unhook it. The pike however did not want to open its mouth. when i told my daughter about it she thought for a minute and then said, "Daddy did you say please?" Confused I asked her what she meant and she said, "Next time say please pike can you open your mouth." So the next time you have a troublesome pike just say please and see what happens.
