it came to an end today

hi guys i decied to go pike fishing today as the season ends in a few days time so as me and my mate made the journey we decide to go to the venue and fish a swim that i have never fished and hoped for that big one well anyway got the 2 ledger rods setup and baited and out they went and after about an hour one rod burst in to life so i was quick on it but it stop so i waited about 1 min and nothing so then i put the swinger back up but then it just ran like hell then i hit in to it but felt little and up it came a little pike i did not weight it but it looked about 1lb and a bit lol

so then i put it back in the water but it just sat there for ages i done allsorts to get it going but he would not leave and heres a pic off in sitting below my swim if ya can see it get ya specs out lol

so any way all rods back out but time was going bye quick bye the hour and was all quiet then the baliff came down and a had a chat and he said theres a guy on the middle level he been there 12 days and had nothing but he is only after zander not good then so then the swim was quiet nothing happing so i got the candy camera out and took a pic that was going bye

so i said to my mate lets call it the end off the seaon he said ok he had nothing so then we packed up and head off home till next time i will be back early september but for now its carping tenching and breaming time for me bye and i would like to say thanks to kevin wyatt the main man on inviting me in this forum and meeting loads off cool friendly guys and learning abit more about thease zander thanks all but ill be back
