| It's a bait for pike,but I've never heard of it.Can someone help.Cos it caught my mate,a 15,18,20 and 21lb in one session on the River Tees. | Re: Pollan or Pollun or pollen pollan ![]() the pollan is a fish that is native to ireland and has become a fantstic pike bait over the last few years and i would highly reccomend it . i think the rreson it works well is probably because its naturally bouyant and will sit up naturally of the bottom with no aid of a poly ball . its does not surprise me that your mate has done well on it especially if the baits has not been used alot on the water. i remember having some same results when i started to experiment in using sand eels on a local water with fantastic results i know that (baitbox ) sells them in there pike bait range and most good tackle shops will stock them tightlines kevin ![]() |
