Unhappy help...

hey guys im back its been a while... to be honest iv been trying so hard recently to catch a pike im getting desperate! i live close to croydon and theres hardly ne places near me to pike fish. iv been to keston ponds with one pike caught over the last year and i missed one the other day! does anyone no n e good places nearish to me where iv got a good chance of catchin a pike!!

Greg, have you tried Bury Hill? I've never fished there myself but a few on here fish it regularly for big pike and it's only about 30 miles from Croydon, there's also Beaver Farm which apparently contains pike to 30lb in one of its lakes - again not my area so can't vouch for it. Depending on how far you are willing to travel the Thames to the west of London has lots of pike I believe. Pretty much any natural water will hold pike, as I was told recently "where there's antelope there's lions" so if there are lots of silver fish in a river or canal near you there should be pike. hi greg,i'm not an expert on the fishing around your neck of the woods but bury hill at dorking is good for the pike with the added bonus of zander in there as well

thx guys...
i tried beaver farm fishery and blanked had 1 bite the hole day. to be honest i dont mind small pike either iv heared of bury hill but havny a clue of how to get there but i do drive :) and hampton court is supposed to be good but dont now how to get there and the right methods! any help wud be appreciated thx

coming from london head for dorking,go through dorking and onto the a25 ( i think ) the guildford road . bury hill is about 1/2 mile south of dorking on the left hand side,it is well signposted,their website will help you as well

mmm used to be my area but didnt fish there then
but dorking angling assoc also has the river mole which has pike
thames arround kingston is free fishing and pike as well
