advice and opinions on tackle

Well I am almost certain to go on this now, spoke to my Director at work today and they may need me to go to Melbourne for April and the beginning of May. I have insisted that I am back in time to make this, will get the final dates next week.

So the tackle tarting can begin.

I have ordered 3 Daiwa emcast evo 5000 big pit reels on Kevin's advice.

I am looking at either the shimano hyperloop AX carp rods or the beastmaster's

they need to be 3lb test and I wondered if it was worth paying the extra £25 per rod for the beastmasters?

was tempted to spend the saving I would make by getting the hyperloops on a set of fox micron alarms, either the warrior or the micron M, what do you all reckon.

the only other large purchase will be a bed chair and again may well go for the fox stalker as it is around the £65 mark, I need something comfy as I have a damaged back.

I will need to get some decent swingers, was looking at the fox microswingers, look right to me but I am no expert.

So any comments will be gratefully received

Mike

Sounds good Mike, just to let you know, I have 2 spare Fox Micron M's if you wanted them?

Re: advice and opinions on tackle

i personaly think that you ought to go for the hypeloops and spend the saving on indicators .

again with indicators there are so many different types its make your mind boggles as you walk down the isles in the shops i,m taking two types i,m taking my bobbins and i,ll be taking my euro swingers not sure which one i,ll be using

tightlines

Re: advice and opinions on tackle

well I am torn now, I have seen a pro logic wide bedchair, with 6 legs in my local tackle shop for the same price as the fox stalker. Anyone tried it??
