Well i'm off to France in 3 weeks

For the 1st time carping, can't bloody wait !! Taking the family along and we're going to lac lucie on the carpfrance complex, deal is sole use of the lake plus also thrown in sole use of his 5 acre stocking lake and a lakeside chalet with all the mod cons.

Plan is continue to teach my 14yr old stepdaughter to fish, this has come a bit soon really as she's at that stage where she can be left to floatfish for small carp, and has no experience of 10lb+ fish. Shall spend 3 hrs a day up on the runs water, a few hours each lunchtime out doing the family thing in the countryside before returning to lakeside chalet to plan the early evening & nights fishing on the harder lac lucie. Thankfully the chalet is next to the lake so i wont be too far away from them when i need a hand with the photos

I note you chaps are off to France to Kingfisher lake ? By coincidence (well not really therers alot of lakes called Kingfisher) the third lake on our complex is called that, slightly larger with cats to 120lb, bit too dear to hire exclusively though. If i was going on me own or with lads then id be happy just renting a bivvy space for the week but will be nice for the kids to learn and the missus to sunbathe in peace

Our venue is Kingfisher Lake at Paradise Lakes and it's either in or very near to Limoges. The thing is there's only 2 lakes on our complex so must be different.

yes danna its not to far from where we our going the reason i felt we should go to this part of france to carp fish was that they have to try and attract anglers as it s a bit of a drive, so the facilities are normaly very high quality and the fish seem to be that bit bigger there .yes we have booked a lake exclusively which for 6 worked out very well and being 10 1/2 acres there will be plenty of room .

i hope for further reference that you write up a good report on the venue just in case others want ot investigate it sometime .
