Rules And Regulations .

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR KINGFISHER LAKE
--------------------------------------------------------

ALL FISH :must be treated with the greatest of care , do not keep any fish out of the water for long periods ,especially in hot conditions. There is a correct method of ensuring thier safety (please ask one of our representatives ) .DO NOT IGNORE THIS REQUEST

DO NOT take fish out of the lake until you have all the necessary equipment ready, ie : weigh sling (wet) unhooking mat (wetted first) .scales and camera etc

DO NOT move any fish from one swim to another ,DO NOT carry any fish other than in a proper sling.
DO NOT stand up whilst holding a fish .

* NO use of treble hooks or bent hooks

* NO lead core of any kind to be used to be used or brought on to the premises

* no shockleaders or fixed leads .all hook lins must be weaker than your mainline . we recommend 12lb/15lb XT or pro gold mono . braided mainline and hooklink is not allowed for carp fishing it may only be used for cat fish.

* we recommend for end tackle korda clips tail rubbers nad swivels with zip leads fitted swivels hooks 4,6,8,

*NO particles ,NO trout pellets ,NO nuggets, NO animal feed and NO shelf life boilies

* landing nets ,must be a minimum of 42". unhooking mats 3ftx4ft. weigh slings must be strong and suitable for big carp .all of these items must be present in your swim AT ALL TIMES .

* rods and reels must be suitable for big carp and cats .please ask if you require more details .

* NO sacking of fish

* leaving your rods unatended is a CRIME . please refrain from doing so (15 metres)

* 3 rod limit

* no bait boats other than with prior arrangement, 2 boats on site for customers use .

GENERAL CAR AT PARADISE LAKE
-----------------------------------

* NO litter of any decription (this includes cigarette ends) ,lines, hooks , beer bottles and tops etc

* NO making swims , cutting of trees or any other plants

* NO fouling of complex, toilets are on site .

i don,t know paul have to ask for ya normal they specify a minimum which is normally 2 1/2 lb test i would be surprised if thats not what the minimum requirement will be

here is his response i quote :



Hi Kevin

As regards to rods i would recommend no less than 3.lb test with the stock
average being around the 35lb mark he will struggle with any thing less, and
reels should really be big pits small bait runners are no good. If there is
a problem with getting hold of rods then there may be chance of renting
them.

i have replied debating his requirements being over kill and that a good 21/2lb test is more than adequate to tame a big fish and sure thats the point of angling is to enjoy the fight . also as for big pits again i have argued that i could not see that they are necassary .
