Claudia, I will be purchasing a load of this, will hunt around and get some prices and can order it when I order mine.

Re: Tackle Requirements

I have priced up a similar terminal tackle kit, but will have to wait til payday!!

I am sure I will miss something vital but I understand they have tackle for sale at the lake, and I am sure we can help each other out if we are stuck.

The learning curve may well be steep for me, but I am sure I can fall back on a few hair rigged boilies and a few maggots on a big hook if I get stuck. If we get them feeding the greedy old carp will take the bait!!

Mike

Re: Tackle Requirements

Well, haven't updated for a while, so thought I'd add what I have got recently.

Kev got me onto a cracking couple of deals a few weeks back, so I'm now the proud owner of 3 Shimano 10,000 XTE's, a Fox Frontier bivvy and am also borrowing a nice warm sleeping bag from the great man himself.

Last day of work with Trespass today, so thought I'd use my 50% off discount before I left, got myself a few items of clothing which will come in very handy for fishing and also a decent rucksack which will take some bulk for France.

Only big think left to get is my rods which will be done beginning of March when next pay slip comes through, then it's on to rig bits and I'm pretty much done.
