Re: Tackle Requirements

well i,ve change my mind again (i,m like the weather all ways changing ) as i said the other day i decided i was going to get the Nash double top bivvy well at the last minute i,ve changed my mind and decided to go for the newer version of the Nash Double Top professional
as it has the canopy over the door way on this up graded version which will stop the rain from going in the bivvy
also the other good feature about the double top range is that the inner tent is attached to the outer waterproof layer which means there is no need to struggle trying to get the over rap layer on , on a windy days as its all ready done .
although there is the option for a over rap making this the first bivvy to have three layers which can be a benefit in the colder months .

being on the pram hood system design the time it takes to put up is quick
it has got a fair bit of room so all my bits and bobs will fit nicely in .
what i also like is it has that plenty head room that i felt was lacking on the viper TT i got , but hey it will do me for the zedding in the winter .

what i also like about the nash double top professional is that at the back it got two windows that can be opened to allow more ventilation inif it get decidedly hot during the summer month

i have to say i,m very impressed and after checking it over it looks very well made from good stitching and with the zips and buckles being of substantial quality making it look the b****cks and the price being only £169.99 which again is very good indeed when you look at a lot of these pram hood design bivvies which can cost you three times as much .
there was no fuss putting it up or getting it back down to put in the bag which again is a bit bigger than alot of bags that come with bivvies which find you struggling to put it in not so with this one .

although i,ve not used it out on the lakes yet i,m very confident and pleased with my purchase and would certainly on first impressions reccommend it to any one .

here is the bivvy with the extra over rap option on it

great value from a top company

tightlines
kevin

Mmmm ok every one knows Im a complete tackle tart

Well I have a big confession to make as I am no in critial need of help as Ive just bought this for the trip. My thinking is that as I have a bad back and marking my peg might just push me over the edge on the physical side of things I just had to get one

Re: Tackle Requirements

nice one rich,i've had one for six months or so,they are very good
i have the smaller version, the one with the receiver mounted on the rod
as a fishfinder they are c**p,but thats not what i bought it for,
for finding features on the bottom they are first class

Re: Tackle Requirements

yes i used to have one with the orange transducer and the big carry around screen
actually found it to be more of a hindrance due to the fact that it only had a range of 30yrds and virtually every where i fish is alot further than that so i had no use for it .
and most of the fishing at paradise lakes will more than likely be further than the range of the transducer aswell so you will be probably marking up the good old fashioned way (marker float )
