baits for france

ok these are an over view of carp baits that should look at using

boilies in 14mm to 20mm sizes flavours are up to yourselfs but good quality frozen baits are recommended also i find that finding out what the lake i,m visiting are using is normal worth serious thought

pops up again i take varius including ones that match my baits but i normally find i only catch using snowmen rigs

halibut pellets : 21mm as hook baits i tend to take these if there are cats in the lake i,m visiting

maize : well cooked

pellets : in various sizes /and oil contents / blood worm pellet

floaters ; (this is an observation and a personal opinion )

now i don,t take any floaters as very few french carp lakes i know actually have a lot of surface caught carp in them this might be due french carp are usually fed on maize which means that when young they do not learn to feed up in the water.

particles : are good and a good baulk feed but you find most lakes seem to supply making far better for yourself and hassle free

there are probably lots of other you can take and use but these are the main basics baits and they should not let you down while on your holiday

tightlines
kevin

Re: baits for france

Thanks Kevin, plenty to think about there.

What flavours would you recommend, fruity or fishmeal?
