pingus paradise piscitorial pics

well that was a great week
top company , top lake and big fish(even if they did decide too spawn midweek and then carried on till we left, but guess if only going too have whoo hoo once a yearbest make a good job of it)
others have done more comprehensive reports but heres my 2 penneth worth

great to get gear carried to swim by trailer

heres view from my swim (kevs on opposite bank

first fish i helped land was for paul(species hunter)
a lump of a 40

but i did manage to wake the old fart up to help photograph this lovely 21lb sturgeon(netted myself was quite chuffed) dont they hang on, first and only boilie caught fish

then next morning woke him again as i landed this cat(again 21lb) what a slimey beast they are, and you feel like a 6yr old taking a great dane for a walk trying to control them !!!!!!, caught by design on a 1/3 of a tin of hairrigged luncheon meat(we werent supposed to try for them but hey)

paul the species hunter even managed an orca on a boilie

glad i didnt need to take a bait boat as used my own custom baitmaster special baiting system

kev made a special friend in the site dog "gerry" or was that kevs hat made a special friend

steve and myself headed off one day too find the village that the germans ransacked and has been left as a shrine, well we thought this town was it as so quiet (but we should have driven on 5 miles ...oooopps...) anyway we stopped for a beer and croque missuer at town cafe

and we were all so chuffed when mike broke his duck early on thursday morning

it was a great experiance, I must admit i was not sure wether i would enjoy a weeks carping ,but it was great, the weather did help as was glorious in the middle, I learnt loads, either carping or a great tutorial on using the waggler properly from steve in the hunt for a pumpkinseed but only had about 21lb of roach ,rud and perch

I nearly had a carp but the wee beasty spat the hook (barbed??)out just before the net, so ended up at the end a carp blanker along with mike, guess they didnt like our two swims, (did try on pauls and steves and right too death (8am sat)to get one)

hoping i can work out a trip for next year(mrs ping already 1/2 said yes)
but the tiredness of 1500 miles driving needs to be medicated with a good english pint or 5 tonight.

so thanks guys for all your help and the laughs in the week and to kev (the haribo king) for organising the trip

dave

Looks like you all had a great time.
