Re: new report well thats a awesome week for them the fish seem to be really feeding be interesting to see if next weeks quiet .mind you i suppose if we see a poor result now it might make us dispondent so lets hope they keep feeding and we have the abilities and to tame a few of them if we listen to what we are told fish in the correct places with the right tactics and bait theres no reason why we can,t do well too tightlines kevin ![]() Last edited by baitmaster; 05-12-2007 at 03:50 PM.

Re: new report I have had a look at the weather forecast at the lake for the next week and it is showers and cool nights, maybe that will delay the warming of the water and slow the spawning up a bit., the long range seems to be warming as we arrive there.

Re: new report well if the forecast is right then i for one will be very happy indeed but i,ll keep an eye on the air pressure as thats the important part as that will dictate what the fish do tightlines kevin ![]()

Re: new report well if it is any help the forecast is to remain high pressure (1020 mb) next week and the first half of our week then fall to 1005mb for the last half of our week. Is that good or bad? Looks like the temperatures are right, cloud conditions good, night time temperatures rising whilst we are there, I feel confident it will be perfect for us.

Re: new report 1020 mbs falling to 1005mbs is not a bad mb reading but i personally don,t feel confident with a falling barometer . but and theres all way a but lots of variables have to come together for it to be either good or bad, like wind direction. air temperture, water temperture , and then air and water pressure ,time of year and if you really wanted to you could try and bring the phases of the moon into the equation we must remember we are also fishing abroad too which means temps and pressures would be different to ours and there will probably be a difference in the optinums conditions between and there fishes to our own. i think if we started to read to much into the highs and lows before we arrive we could end getting confused reading the weather is a science all on its own and to understand the weather and it affects on fishing take a long time to learn i answered a post in-depth back last year to try to simplify and understanding weather patterns and conditions but it was probably all wrong Water Pressure it will be best if we turn up cast out and keep fingers crossed the fish pick up the bait and it don,t rain tightlines kevin ![]() Last edited by baitmaster; 05-12-2007 at 05:04 PM.
