| diet is there anyone here who knows there stuff about diets? im looking to loose around 1.5 stone then build up the body i lost when girls and beer became more important came to a head after i got my tool belt out the van the other day and i wore it 6months back since then iv gain 2" round my gut im 6ft and 14.2st but its all on the gut arms are toned but belly gonna get ya anyone help? __________________ Always searching for new ideas |

| Re: diet Can't argue with that Mike. In my job I advise patients how to lose weight, but I'm in the same boat. Me and the missus are losing weight at the moment using a similar idea to Mike's. Less in + more out. |

| Re: diet Well as from tomorrow i'm on a healthy eating get fit regieme. Every year my fitness test results get slightly worse and my anual diving medical tells me the worst ![]() Well all this ends tomorrow, eating healthy and in moderation and a daily fiz routine, it's the only way im afraid. ![]() As i sit hear drinking Brakspear Gold ![]() __________________ One day i will post a catch report again. |

| Re: diet Keep away from the biscuits and snacks. My colleague and I would buy biscuits at work and wondered why we piled the pounds on. We took the trouble to look at the packet - one damned wholemeal plain biscuit has 90 cals and we would wolf a whole packet a day. Also try not to eat after 18.00 - makes a difference. No crisps and snacks in front of the tele. We eat olives or gerkins. Less cals. Apart from that as above eat less and more exercise!! Good luck. Maybe we should have a fishing forum weight loss comp. !! Admin?? |

| Re: diet exercise plain and simple thats why kids are getting fatter sitting at pc playing games mind you i walk alot and am 50 ,6"2 and 17 .5 stone can still play footy with the kids at school and rugby my chosen sport and have been up snowdon a few times with my beer gut in tow lol ,,recent medical findings said fat people are no more unhealthy than thin and that yoyo dieting can cause thin people to be more unhealthy and is dangerous ,its only in the morbidly obese bracket you get problems ,,, as for bmi it dosent work take your average fit healthy rugger player according to bmi most would be overweight got that from the horses mouth my doctor |

I have trained people who go gym three times a week and have lost inches off their waist in a matter of 6 months without lowering the amount they eat, simply changing what they eat. |
