Wish I could help yall out, but I'm across the pond, so joining up with your club really would not be doable.....and really would not help your club (except for the 36 quid you would garner...)

Ben- Moving up to a full bore from a .22 isn't that painful. I personally enjoy shooting high powered rifles more than .22's which I also shoot. Most of my centerfire shooting is 7.62x39mm (AK-47 caliber) from a sporterized Mauser, but I have other calibers too, and shoot those. For .22 shooting, I use a CZ-452-2E-ZKM, among others.

Thats a very poor excuse for if I ever heard one.
All my bird shots are head shot, if I cant be sure I dont take the shot...simple.
To say that a hollow point for a crow will drop it is utter nonscence, unless your very close (25 yards or so)it will just fly off and die a lingering death.Unless of course you make the head shot, then it will drop like a stone.As will anything with a hole in the head.
