Cool Re: gun club

Hi guys,

I game shoot, Deer Stalk and clay shoot. I used to do a lot of clay shooting...sporting, down the line, ball trap and American Skeet...but not so much now mostly game and vermin control now.

For most of my Deer Stalking I use a 308 or 270 i'm not interested in the velocity of the round for deer... but the trajectory.

My 308 will stop you or a deer for up to 2 miles...but you would be very lucky indeed to hit anything at that range. Mostly my deer stalking is up to 1,000 yards and in the average ranges of 450 - 600 yards. A good bit of "Sniping" eh?

We don't trophy hunt, but deer management and control.

If you want to see a big rifle I will post a photo for you to gaze upon. This is "real" sniper shooting........

Oh.....did you know that the word "Sniper" comes from the old days when the landed gentry started to shoot Snipe. These are birds smaller than your clenched fist that flight in a zig zag pattern and are very fast indeed.

If you could shoot them consitanly you were dubbed a "Sniper"...

Ok Dude,
will do i'll let you all see my awesome weapon.

I tried deer stalking with an air rifle once, but i think the deer thought that someone was trying to annoy them with a pea shooter but with a 308..........
