| played the full match on sunday, had an alright game on the wing against Bishop Auckland! created the first try and the third one had a couple of good runs, making about 10-20 metres on each, sidestepping and the like! unlucky on one cos it was like a flashback to the final....ill protest to the death that my foot was in but the touch judge decides no! i was through for my try like. ![]() then second half i dropped to full back and cleared up a few balls, made a nice run that got ended by a RATHER LARGE prop dump tackling lmao (all very good fun!) ![]() then i created the last try ...and we won 29-10! should get us back up to around 3rd in the table...next match MIGHT be gateshead friendly but we definately have darlington mowden park in the league away...and thats the team thats meant to be in the league above us and is currently sitting top cant wait to show them that Stockton should be there ![]() __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?" | this week we played Gateshead, after thrashing them something like 35-0 at home last time we met, we were expecting to do so again but it wasnt to be...defeated 19-0/19-3 (cant remember) on the wing again for 60 minutes, taken off for final 15, and i think the major factor this week was their ferocity and underhanded dirty play...they had a county full back who i took down (snapped the bugger in half ) the second time and got a bloody good dead leg (it stings and aches and makes me limp all at once! ) but the first time i was handed off IN THE THROAT.and another thing they did was send a flanker and a second row to leap at me whilst clearing up a loose ball... and latch onto my neck in midair... so there i am stood with about 27 stone of forward attached to my neck (stood my ground and stayed standing wheyyy!! ) waiting for a whistle that doesnt come and i forward pass it to our full back. ![]() they had the home advantage as well as a shambles of a ref ...plus we had a long journey! eee god im like a formula one driver with all these excuses. very muddy pitch and i end the week with another cut bruised scratched and muddy body...still better than footy by miles ![]() __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?" | Re: This Weeks Rugby You need to be careful PP. You might damage your casting arm or something serious like that. Can you imagine no fishing for 6 weeks |
