I to thought we d been robbed with the try but ive just been looking on the bbc site and theres a clear pic of his foot on the line before he touches the ball down.

I aint English, as you may by now have guessed.

I thought it was a try and I was screaming at the TV like everyone else who wanted England to win.

Looking at the replay over and over it wasn't. It clearly shows his foot hit the line before he lifted it. The best team did win but I now have a much greater respect for the pride guts and determination that the England team showed.

I hope they get given the heroes welcome they so much deserve.

What they did was to prove that being proud of being Englsh is not a sin.

Us Taffs, Jocks and Micks have been allowed to be proud without being called a bunch of neo nazi thugs.

For our John Bull brothers and sisters , it hasn't quite been the same.
Raise the flag of St George and you are a wrong thinking nazi (now there's a bunch of people I really do have an issue or two with, but that's another debate and another forum).

Maybe now you can join the rest of the UK (and Ireland) and , rightfully , be allowed to say you are darned proud to be English and NOT be thought a blond hair, blued eyed and boys in small shorts obsessed moustacheoed MASS MURDERING F@@K WIT.

England can be darned proud of itself for producing such sons.

Course tommorrow the celts will be back on you case, but tonight we are with you.

We have our own Anthem and we do think we lord it over you!

Nah! it all came from getting back from the pub after having a conversation about why people have a problem with people who say they are proud to be such.
That and way too much cider again. I've spotted a pattern developing here so the cider needs to get knocked on the head before I do.
