new to sea fishing

Hi i am new to fishing alltogether and never fished at all, just about to start up, got most of my info about rods and tackle from sea fishing magazine, i am thinking of starting out at blackpool or the wirrell and would like some info on baits and such maybe cod at this time of year, are any info what i would expect at these venues thanks Joe

Hi joe, welcome to the forum, we all had to start sometime, ask your questions, anglers here generally have good info to impart.
Also have a look through some off thr older threads, a lot off good information already logged there.

Hello Joe. Welcome to the forum and welcome to fishing! Never tried sea fishing myself. Often thought of having a go though. As Chris says alot of info to be had here. Good luck and keep us informed how it's going.
