damn done it again went to new brighton fished from low water to an hour after high had a flatty but came off coming up the wall so blanked did not see any one else catch either i usually fish the liverpool side but its now resticted or fences have been erected i mean practicaly the whole liverpool side people do fish at the marina entrance but there is no fishing signs up hundreds used to go in old docks and fish river wall cant now lockd out new fence slowly all fishing places have now gone otterspool has never been a good place quite exposed to the vicious tide we have here yeh im pi##ed off

Thanks for the post mate, I was sat here feeling a bit sorry for myself at having to stay in and decorate all day today. the alternative would have been a trip down to new brighton and probably blanking by the sound of it.

thanks pingu ive calmed down now no dont think ill find a new spot up here took me 30 years to get them what with the geography of the river and the vicious tides upto 10 mtres 8 to 10 ounce wieghts have no chance but find a spec just out of the main flow and there you go nice fish holding areas many a large cod caught in them specs all closed now new brighton is mainly one long beach liverpool side is upto 35ft of water now you see cheers
