| Stavanger Harbour Stavanger harbour is currently fishing quite well for Mackerel, those who are fishing on the bottom, generally only me! are catching mostly small Flounder and Gurnard. Mackerel are fishing best at the top of the tide and for an hour afterwards, but seem to be present most of the day if you are persistent. Some Coalie about and far to many bait pinching Pouts and Ballan or Cuckoo Wrasse. Anybody in the area who wants a fishing buddy, just let me know by PM. Regards, Richard     |

| Re: Stavanger Harbour Still plently of mackerel around, bottom fishing gave us juvenile cod and haddock on frozen squid baits. Suprise of the day was Garfish, taken on a Sabiki rig whilst fishing for my mackerel supper! |

| Re: Stavanger Harbour It is a great place, very pretty as well! Best part is being with my 6 year old son! What enthusiasm he has for the hobby, really inspiring! My wife doesn't feel left out either as she comes with us and whilst my son and I fish she goes window shopping with our daughter! |
