Red face Well...Cant Win Em All

well as promised we arrived at the twin steps at around 7 o clock to find it packed lol, probably because of the run of codling from it, so we drove up the road about 400 yds to parton to fish. only a few ppl there so we set up and hoyed out
the sea was running pretty well...looked bassy with all the white breakers lol.
first cast i hooked a rock on the way back up so i spent about 20 mins rock climbing to get the bait and lead out of the rock ledge in the middle of the prom, but was soon out again.after 2-3 hours there we decided nothing was biting and probably wasnt going to. So we went to the Red Light, otherwise known as the Pilot Pier. it was slightly blustery when we arrived, and there was two other blokes there who we had a chat to about rods and fish and the like. while we were there, they each got 2 or 3 whities, but we didnt stay long, only another 2 hours as the wind had turned horrendous! im tellin ya, at least 25 mph! so our rods looked like one big long whitey bite all night but the other two blokes' rods were staying remarkably still. one of them was using an imax 6/7 so i think i might get one lol
you could see it stationary in the wind and then the bite sensitivity was great! we didnt catch anything like, but at leat we saw some whities pulled out.
all in all, a blanked trip but enjoyable.

P.S Rob, you didnt miss anything apart from wind that turned my hair into an afro lol also, apologies for no pics, but there was nothing to take a picture of
