| Friday night at the fish quay Well the sitting out in the cold all night still didn't bring us a cod, but did bring plenty of big bites, again only whiting and coalfish caught, but were decent size.     |

| Re: Friday night at the fish quay Cheers, think next place to try will be Hartley Bay, a bit of beach casting may be on the cards to land my first first cod of the season. Got to the point on friday before them fish cam along, that even catching a crab would have pleased me : ) |

| Re: Friday night at the fish quay Cheers mate, know how you feel about the cod, I keep trying different techniques and rigs, with the mentality of, this will definitely catch me a cod, but am sure they must be laughing under the water, saying look what the daffy has tried to catch us with this time lol not gona give up until a land at least one though, but if not, a can always catch a decent size whitey and put a little beard on it, to make me feel better ha |
