| Parton (Hartlepool) 09/07/2011 So we turned up at about 8:30pm to fish a couple of hours up the tide then a bit down, with high at 11:15pm. got there just around sunset, got a nice view or two in the process ![]() ![]() ![]() Almost perfect conditions, but the lack of fresh rag let us down (we used lazy rag, and had a quiet first hour and a half, people 20 yards down using fresh rag had a bite a cast) Until the silence was broken by an unexpected surprise, a welcome 1.5 points, but care was taken during the unhooking process as it ws a lesser weaver coming through the waves. ![]() This was the best picture before we worked out how to take them without the flash glaring off the fish (no flash, use our headlight )Then it got a bit busy around high tide, only little things but it was almost a bite every 5 minutes! Got 3 little whiting in total, got pics of two for you ![]() ![]() ![]() So all in all, if we had fresh rag, we would have been pulling coalies + whiting in all night like the lads next to us, but we still had a decent night, although nothing was sizeable, we still bagged 3 points. ![]() __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?" "Yeah!" "Did you bring the rods?" "Errmmm...." |
