Re: cod night session..

Thanks guy's, for all your kind comments...

That was my first cod session of the winter, and just seen the weather on BBC for the coming week, and by Thursday, apparently more northerlies, low pressure, and very cold, just what I need for another cod session, and the tides will be a bit smaller, they were actually too big on Sunday for me, as the low water mark I fish on the rocks usually empties too much on a big tide, on a medium tide, there's usually a lot more water into the rock mark I fish..

One other thing, some tw*t was throwing stones at me from the cliff behind, these cliffs are quite high, up to a hundred feet, and if one them had hit me, well I dread to think! I had to turn my headlamp off for up to an hour, and me and my pal had to sit amongst the cover of the rocks until this silly beggar decided he couldn't see us know more or just got plain sick! If only he knew how dangerous this was, what he was doing, it was around 3am, and God knows what the hell he was doing walking on the cliffs at that time!

We reckoned he was either anti-angling brigade, or very drunk, or had very severe mental health problems, or even ALL THREE !!!

...But what made it worse, I was into a decent fish when it all kicked off, and had to stop reeling, turn me lamp off, get behind a rock - yeah you guessed it, got snagged, couldn't break it out even with a rotten bottom, broke free, FISH GONE!! it was a goodun too! (honest, not just the one that got away!)

Anyway, he buggered off, and we carried on till around 6.30am... Can't wait for end of the week, but, may choose another mark chaps!!
