| hi. i was fishing the heugh last night (thurs 14.8). there were a few fishing mostly kids but two guys where on the higher wall. i was baiting up when the kids were shouting like crazy so i went over and saw what looked like some shark or tope ( to big for tope i think) must have been at least three metres in lenght and was just off the end of the breakwater. the two older guys saw it aswell. a few cast later i was gettting hit with a decent bite, i struck took into it which felt quite big as i reeled in i restruck and my line ended up on the pier beside me cut clean as a whistle. what ever this was must have took my fish and also has very sharp teeth HA HA. i know the seal is there because he was around later but has anyone else seen this !!shark!!. its big dorsal fin and tail fin clearly out of the water so we could determine its length. ![]() |
