They took you to poor venues mate - there is always fish on this beach - if conditions are not good eg flat etc - you can always pick up whiting, coalies, dabs, rockling, flounders, plaice etc - might not be exciting stuff, but hey a match is all about catching...

some craking fish, paul the river humber has been fishing realy well i was there last week and had a 3lber my dad had a 5lb his mate had two over 6lb and lost one aswell , we have a good run of codling so far hope it keeps up.
