Costly mistake i think !!!!!!!!

Well as a simple man i thought as the month of May was quiet at work i would take a couple of long weekends and earn myself a few brownie points with the other arf and do a bit of decorating like any good meaning husband should do
And today while just putting the gloss on the living room door i get a phone call from one of the fishing travel companies that i use informing me that they had cut the cost of certain holidays as business was quieter than usual and as a valued customer blah blah blah ,anyway this got me thinking November seems a awful long way away before my next expedition,so after a quick chat i thought a week in August back on the river Ebro tackling some of those cats seemed quite a good idea so checked available dates and a quick phone call to work to make sure that it would be OK for me to take time off that was OK so rang back up bank card at the ready and yesss i am back off to the Ebro on the 21st august,
A short time later the other arf came back with the dog and she seemed really pleased with the way the living room now looked so i thought that i would just mention my little jaunt that i had just booked !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! WHOOPS i get the feeling that the Oxford English dictionary would have trouble translating the following conversation into readable text OH DEAR,she then grabbed her coat and stormed out and about 10 min ago she rang to say she was in a showroom in Watford arranging for a guy to come round and measure up for a new kitchen (that will teach you to book another f****** fishing holiday) yes dear i said and she said that if all goes well they will start the 2nd week in June,so much for saving a few quid on a fishing jaunt oh well i don't know what you guys think but it has suddenly dawned on me that there is going to be a lot of banging and drilling during this refit so perhaps i might book a fishing trip whilst they are doing the work
ANY OF YOU GUYS WANT TO VOULANTEER TO TELL HER THE GOOD NEWS ????
Second thoughts perhaps i had better lay low for a while
