| Re: My fishing career is over ! get well soon steve. i know how you feel after a spill of the mountain bike a couple of years ago. broken wrist, broken bone in the hand, 2 broken ribs, internal bleeding across the stomach and 20 stitches in my foot. all i'll say is take it easy and hard as it maybe, when the cast comes off try and leave it a week or two before trying to do all the normal stuff like fishing...i didn't and i don't think it had healed completely and was painfull for a good 6 months!!! john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |

had the cast replaced yesterday and the consultant decided we could go forward without pinning it so one more trip next Tuesday and then around 4 weeks in plaster .. I Did tell the nurse to leave my index finger out the cast and she duly obliged - ive taken the air guitar method and tried it winding in a multiplier and things seem ok.. Boy was there some bruising tho , yellow all on top and the palm of my hand black as 2 in the morning I just can't see me lasting till June tbh i managed to make a full roast dinner last Sunday including peeled spuds and carrots ( comical to watch i agree ) so i reckon sticking a sandeel on will be a doddle - but your right , i may regret it long term ![]() __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
