Zander/Pike Angler

Hello!
finally got fed up with the Carp forums and decided to see if there is any forum activity on Zander fishing.
I'm lucky enough to live right in the middle of the Fen's with the Middle level "down the road" and the Great Ouse, Relief Channel and Cut-off fairly close.

Looking to swap info. on Zander and Pike fishing in this area and willing to give advise on the drain locations, access, how its fishing etc.

this looks like a good forum - lots of variety! maybe I'll find out where I can go sea fishing in the north part of Norfolk.

I've been lucky with my Zander fishing over the past 5 years - I fished a still water in Bedfordshire (Wyboston South lagoon) until I moved out to the sticks last August.

Wyboston only seems to produce big Zander and plenty of blanks!
I'm still learning about the Fens, miles and miles of water! So I fish where the autumn/winter matches are held and that seems to work.

I was at a Carp water at the weekend in Evesham - he baliff said there was a lot of big Zander in the local river (Avon?) Where do you Zander fish in Gloucestershire?

Well just scouting the sharpness canal seems fish could go to 15lb as a 13lb was netted only a few weeks ago

Ive only just started so only had a 7lb from this water but with a bit of foot work Im sure I will get a nice double soon ( fished two trips here )

The Avon is next on my list and they seem to be just above Tewsbury marina but need to put some time in on the water but have some ideas on which stretch to fish already and then theres the river severn which is going to be hard but going to go for it

Kev (Baitmaster ) is your way and has helped me big time and I know he will post soon
