| Saying hello Good morning all. I've been away from beach fishing for 20 years or so. Nothing sinister, been fly and coarse fishing. Still interested in both but I'm now keen to try beaches again. My first few attempts have been at West Bex and Blue Anchor. Mackerel and two Gurnard at WB, blanked from BA. I've renewed my old ABU Zooms with a 13 foot Esprit and a 15 foot (can't remember the make right now). I'm sticking with my 20 year old 6500C on the Esprit but I've bought a fixed spool for the 15 footer. I had no idea how things had changed. Forums like this, for example didn't exist! If the boiler repairman turns up on schedule this morning I'm going to try WB again this afternoon. If I make it down there I'll let you know how I get on.
