new boy on the block

hi everybody - found your site by accident while looking for a fly pattern. never found the pattern, but got very distracted by some dialogue on the merits of booby fishing. so i thought i'd join up. i'm in south africa and into pretty much every form of fly fishing, but distinct preference is for trout. being retired i only fish 9 days a week, but looking to increase that when the weather warms up.
first question - can anyone out there tell me more about the "magic rabbit" or "magic hare" - both are variants of emerging buzzers or shipmans buzzer.
bye for now - have to go stock some trout!

Welcome to the Forum Wollyworm. I,ve been fly fishing for years, but these are new patterns to me. Possibly a local variant on a Rabbitiser or a Hares ear. Good luck with your search.
