After Lochaline BBQ, our skate trip with Ronnie got blown off, but we found the mark at Furnace that "Skatecatcher" recommended - got three sorts of wrasse and a black goby! Davy - have you noticed an increase in the numbers of goldsinny and corkwing wrasse since the spread of salmon farming? Small wrasse act as "cleaners" - ie they feed on things like sea lice, which they peck off larger fish infested with them. BTW there were thousands of infant cod in Loch Linnhe - just like Lochaline.
