What type of rod would you recommend me taking to the Bahamas?

Re: Bahamas

Any kind of rod I could lay my hands on.

I'm not sure to be honest, but having seen some fishing progs in Mexico, south america, a heavy fly rods seems good fun.

Maybe a question for Omaha or some of our other member on t'other side of the pond.

Cheers,

Rich

Re: Bahamas

I've noticed members from south Florida and Miami, They'd know better than I.
I think its more like your sea fishing than at my reservoirs. Just in gorgeous crystal clear water. Without knowing any better, I'd imagine a bait caster w/20# or 25#.
Good Luck

ps. NO SPEEDOS !!!!!!! Craig Ferguson hosts a late night talk show "The Late Late Show" He says "I'm European, I'm required by law to wear Speedos" I believe thats the same law that doesn't allow me (or Anyone from the midwest) to wear'em . LOL (not funny)
