| I'm New I LIVE IN WICHITA, KS. I LOVE TO FISH FOR CATFISH, (NOT WITH MUCH LUCK THOUGH). I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME WHETHER OR NOT THE GLOW STICKS WOULD WORK IN PLACE OF THE EXPENSIVE LIGHTS FOR ATTRACTING BAIT FISH TO MY LOCATION. ![]() |

| Re: I'm New Hi gmanpitz, Welcome to forum. I'm about 3 hours north of you. Its hard to say, A lot of folks use a coleman lantern, which draws bugs, which in turn draws fish (bait&sport) A glowstick doesn't seem bright enough to attract bugs. If you would attach it to your line above the bait, (some)fish are curious enough to check it out. I think I would suggest, rather attach it(glowstick) to your rod tip(or bobber) so you can more easliy watch it for ANY movement. And use the stinkiest bait you can stand to leave scent trail. Which will also attract bait fish. I'm not of the stink bait crowd, my bast bait is still good'ol chicken livers!! Good Luck and let us know. ![]() __________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day working!
