| Indexer Intro Hi All I'm Indexer (AKA - Nik). I'm 34 years old and live in Berkshire. Haven't fished since I did so with my Dad when I was in my early teens. Have just got back from my first weekends coarse winter fishing on a small off-shoot from the Thames near home in Windsor. Cold but what a wonderful way to spend a weekend! Am now looking forward to developing my ability with the help of other members and catching some more fish!     |

| Re: Indexer Intro I know this is probably the wrong place to post but went to a great Fishery called Pond Wood Farm between Windsor and White Waltham on Monday. £10 for a day ticket with 3 lake options. Great location. Even in the cold I spent most of my morning catching medium to small Perch and Roach. Then tried a different method and landed a common carp of 8lbs + on a 3lb mainline and 2lb hook line. This is my first ever fish of this type or size - I had a little dance on the bank!!! All this fun and I've only been fishing as an adult for 3 days! Can't wait to get back out there - Friday it is!! |
